Fall Wine Tasting

Savor seasonal wines and admire the emerging fall colors at The Morton Arboretum.

On Thursday, October 15, 2026, spend a fall evening sampling more than 80 varieties of wine as you stroll through The Morton Arboretum’s Gerard T. Donnelly Grand Garden. Admire the changing leaves as you sip and enjoy the seasonal displays of colorful pumpkins, pansies, and chrysanthemums along the garden paths.

Event tickets include Arboretum general admission on Thursday, October 15, 25 wine tastings, and a 5-ounce tasting glass.

Yes, all general event ticket holders receive a 5-ounce wine tasting glass.
Will there be live music?

Yes, this event will feature live music.
Will food be available?

Special seasonal concessions will be available in Arbor Court from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Enjoy a delicious lineup of autumn favorites—including freshly popped kettle corn, taffy apples, barbecue pulled pork sandwiches, apple cider doughnuts, and hot apple cider.

Food and beverages are also available at the Ginkgo Café, located in the Visitor Center. From 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Ginkgo Café offers prepackaged salads and sandwiches, bakery items, espresso beverages, hot tea, and drip coffee.
Are Designated Driver tickets available?

Yes, designated driver tickets are available for this event. Nonalcoholic beverages will be available to sample along the tasting route.

Designated Driver tickets do not include a commemorative tasting glass.
Can I purchase additional samples during the event?

No, there will be no additional samples available for purchase. Guests may order wine to be picked up at a later date from Mainstreet Wines and Spirits in Countryside, IL.
Will there be art vendors present?

Artisan vendors will sell handcrafted goods and food products at the event. Fine art vendors will not be present.
Are visitors allowed to remain on-site after the event ends?

Guests must exit the Arboretum after the event.
